SEO Assistant
Salary: £20k-£23K FTE (depending on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION
As an SEO Assistant you will support and implement works planned by our SEO Managers and be a key member in our clients’ Local SEO strategies. Our clients cover a broad range of industries offering a great scope for learning and developing new and existing skills across these sectors in addition to specialising in your own niche.
Working alongside our SEO Director, Technical Director and SEO Team, you will be responsible for completing local SEO optimisation, Google Business Profile optimisation, uploading and updating content, improving page layouts, profile building submissions and supporting the SEO Team in other on-page and off-page optimisation projects.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating, optimising and keeping Google Business Profiles and Bing Places updated
- Responsible for creating and updating Citation campaigns
- Updating SEO optimisation as planned by the SEO Management team
- Submitting to profile building websites with the support of our Profile Building Team
- Updating website content (including blogs and on-page content) on WordPress and Shopify
- Running audits using specialist software to prepare findings for SEO Managers
- Using Google Analytics and Google Search Consoles to gather performance metrics and reporting findings to the SEO Managers
- Engaging and contributing to SEO Team meetings
- Updating client social media accounts with engaging content
- Reporting detailed description of works completed to clients

FLEXIBLE WORKING
This is a hybrid role (2/3 days in the office).
The successful candidate will be required to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week during the probation period and hybrid (2/3 days thereafter).
Please note due to the beautiful rural location of our UK office, you’ll need your own transport.
