Due to continued expansion we are now looking for an SEO Outreach Assistant to join our very team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Outreach is an active form of digital marketing directed at increasing exposure, build brand authority and drive highly qualified organic and referral traffic to the client site. In SEO campaigns, the primary goal of the outreach process is to create valuable backlinks from other websites to the client site as a way to improve organic rankings. At Artemis, our experienced team use cutting edge link building techniques and great skill to identify strategically valuable publishers who agree to promote high quality unique content written by our in-house Content team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities of the SEO Outreach Assistant include:

• Link building, Outreach and e-mail marketing
• Researching and vetting submission sites
• Establishing initial contact with site owners
• Design work to assist with article submission
• Administrating live link checking
• Assisting with monthly reporting
• Accurate time logging to enable detailed client reports to be produced
• Working closely with our in-house SEO and Content teams to ensure that our client strategy is accurately and effectively performed

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Important personal qualities the SEO Outreach Assistant should bring to the role include:

Educational Attainment:

• University degree or equivalent

Technical Knowledge required:

• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Ability to learn new software digital processes quickly and easily
• Some knowledge of SEO principles and best practices desirable

Experience required:

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years commercial experience ideally in an Outreach role or a background working in a digital marketing agency
• Some knowledge of digital marketing principles desirable but an interest is key

Skills required:

• Excellent ability to build strong customer relationships and a strong rapport with our clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
