Senior Account Manager (with agency experience)

Salary dependant on experience

The role of the Senior Account Manager is to effectively manage our client portfolio to help our clients improve their web presence. You will have solid Account Management experience from an Agency background and be able to create and maintain long-term client relationships.

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager include:

  • Maintaining good, healthy client relationships through regular phone, email and face to face meetings
  • Collaboratively working with the Technical SEO Team to define the correct strategy and delivery schedule to meet the needs and objectives of the client
  • Overseeing the quality of service delivery in terms of efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Working with client development plans and internal processes to deliver long-term client relationships
  • Documenting all client contact to share with the client and internal stakeholders
  • Reporting regularly to the Account Director on the status of your clients
  • Ensuring the delivery of monthly marketing reports to clients within the first 4 working days of the month, including an account manager’s report summarising the month’s activities and how they align with the client and campaign objectives
  • Identifying and presenting new business opportunities to your portfolio of clients to grow agency revenues
  • Analysis, tracking and monitoring of rankings, conversions and traffic using a wide range of tools
  • Management of client budgets

Person Specification

Important personal qualities the Senior Account Manager should bring to the role include:

Educational Attainment:

  • University degree or equivalent

Technical Knowledge required:

  • Excellent IT and web literacy including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software digital processes quickly and easily
  • Knowledge of digital marketing is desirable, but an interest is key
  • Some SEO knowledge desirable but not essential

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 2 years SEO account management experience, gained working within an agency
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced industry with competing client demands, and an exceptional ability to work methodically and with a high level of attention to detail

Skills required:

  • Good understanding of SEO practices
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with project management, time and resource management tools
  • Strong self-motivational and confident interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across all levels of management and with all stakeholders
  • Strong project and account planning skills to ensure effective management of client expectations to deliver relevance and quality on a daily basis
  • A demonstrable passion and shared ambition to deliver client business objectives from the very outset, and to ensure that each project makes a positive contribution to the overall client strategy
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of successfully managing a diverse range of SME clients

  • A natural and confident communicator with a flair for building and nurturing strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen to identify business opportunities for clients and for Artemis, while delivering excellent results

Senior SEO Manager

Salary Dependant on Experience

Job Description

Working alongside our Head of SEO and Technical Director you’ll be responsible for conducting extremely in-depth technical website audits looking at everything from site structure to link profiles and a lot more in between. You will be controlling ongoing SEO strategies for our varied mix of local, national and international SEO clients with valuable thinking time to fully immerse yourself in our clients’ sites and user journeys.

Role and Responsibilities

Applicants will be expected to have a good understanding of the search landscape across different devices and search verticals, good understanding of universal search & traditional effective on-page optimisation, multi-lingual optimisation and a real passion for coming up with new ideas and solving complex ranking issues. This is a very exciting role with huge potential for career and financial growth in a dynamic and fast growing company.

  • Formulating, implementing and managing ethical SEO campaigns across our client portfolio
  • Providing medium to long term strategic SEO direction
  • Providing detailed monthly SEO campaign task planning and management
  • Monitoring and analysing site performance, ensuring the clients’ web traffic delivers
  • Create SEO campaigns that drive enquiries / sales of a high quality and exceed performance targets
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager and Optimise
  • Keeping up to date with changes within the search industry

Person Specification

Technical Knowledge Required:

  • Good knowledge of common CMS including WordPress, Magento, Shopify etc
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS. JavaScript and other programming languages
  • Excellent working knowledge of Screaming Frog and all other relevant SEO analysis software tools
  • An excellent understanding of technical SEO and how to fix site issues according to best practice
  • Excellent understanding of keyword research, site content and strategic SEO planning
  • Good understanding of what makes for a good website user experience and conversion rate optimisation
  • The ability to manage your time in accordance with the client, company and project timescales
  • The ability to translate SEO geek speak to English so clients understand exactly what is going on
  • The ability to get on with, and clearly communicate with all SEO campaign stakeholders

Job Description

Working within our SEO team you will be responsible for completing on-page and off-page optimisation and technical SEO tasks including auditing and identifying areas of opportunity for increasing ranking position, organic traffic and conversions.
