Problem

Hugo Oliver is a London-based bathroom design and installation company specialising in premium, bespoke interiors. While their craftsmanship and showroom experience were strong, their digital presence wasn’t supporting the level of growth or project quality the business was aiming for.

The website generated enquiries, but many were low-budget. Conversion paths were unclear and very little traffic originated from high-intent, style-led searches. Old-style SEO tactics had also diluted local visibility, with multiple low-quality location pages competing with one another and limiting performance.

The
Solution

We agreed with the client to start immediately by fixing misleading enquiry forms and conversion paths to improve enquiry quantity and quality. Forms were simplified and calls to action refined to drive higher-intent enquiries.

We then shifted our focus to solve outdated and ineffective local SEO tactics implemented previously, by consolidating overlapping location pages to eliminate keyword cannibalisation. Targeted geo pages were then developed for affluent London areas aligned with higher-value projects.

Finally, high-intent landing pages were developed for bathroom styles such as Victorian and modern bathrooms in London, supported by real project examples to build trust.

The
Result

Within 12 months, organic traffic increased by 100% and organic conversions rose by 121%. Across all tracked keywords, rankings improved by a total of 1,527 positions, with the number of terms ranking in positions 1–3 increasing by 135%, from 17 to 40.

These improvements translated into more relevant enquiries, higher average project values, and a stronger pipeline of high-quality work. After 18 months of consistent organic growth, Hugo Oliver opened a second showroom in a more affluent London location. The decision was supported by performance data, showing how considered SEO and marketing can drive sustainable, intentional business growth.
