Brand Expertise Questionnaire

The best website content reflects the knowledge and experience that are unique to your business. We call this non-commodity content – useful, original insight based on your real recommendations, customer experiences, projects, opinions and data.

Your answers will help us create content that is more valuable, more distinctive and harder for competitors or AI tools to replicate.

This could be information that helps demonstrate your experience or gives customers genuinely useful insight, such as:

  • Trends you've noticed
  • Anonymised customer or project data
  • Typical price ranges
  • Typical timescales
  • Products or services customers choose most often
  • Common faults or problems you encounter
  • Before-and-after photographs
  • Interesting or unusual projects
  • Statistics from your own work
  • Changes you've noticed in customer behaviour or preferences.

Please upload any files below. Alternatively please email these to your Account Manager.

Only provide information you're comfortable with us potentially using publicly.

Max. file size: 64 MB.
Think about the questions customers ask before making an enquiry or purchase, during the process, and after receiving the product or service.
Think: Recommendations you find yourself making again and again, situations where you'd choose one option over another, advice that depends on the customer's circumstances.
Think: Myths, oversimplified advice, things customers assume are true, advice you see online that doesn't match your experience.
Think: Lessons learned over the years, small details that make a big difference, things you only tend to discover through hands-on experience.

For each one:

  • What did the customer need?
  • What did you recommend or do?
  • Why?
  • What was the outcome?

Names aren't required and the examples can be anonymised.

Start with the initial enquiry and explain the main stages through to the product being delivered or the service being completed. Include what happens at each stage, who is involved, typical timescales and what the customer can expect.
Think: Behind-the-scenes checks, warning signs, professional judgement, preparation, quality checks, things an experienced person notices that others might miss.
Think: Strong recommendations, things you believe are overhyped or underrated, industry practices you agree or disagree with, or advice you’d confidently give even if others in your industry might take a different view.
