Google Product & Website Logins

1. Google Products Summary

We use a number of Google products to monitor your website’s data and manage performance, as follows:

  • Google Analytics

Web analytics tool that is used for tracking and reporting your website traffic.

  • Google Search Console

Previously known as Webmaster Tools, is used for checking indexing status and visibility of the website in Google search.

  • Google My Business

Provides information about your business, such as location, opening hours, logo, contact details, that is displayed in Google search results.

  • Google Tag Manager

System used together with Google Analytics to monitor user behaviour on the website.

 

2. Ownership & Access

It is very important to set up the correct levels of access to Google products for the owner (you) and for users (Artemis and any other users).

You should always retain full access (owner/administrator) to give you complete ownership and control of your account and the ability to add and delete users.

Sometimes a third party that sets up an account (such as a developer or a marketing company) assigns full access to themselves. This can potentially lead to problems in the future as you may not be able to access your account or the third party may delete valuable data.

Problems can arise when you no longer use the service provider that initially set up the account and they may not wish to give you access to your own data. If you have full access and control of each account you can always remove third party access when that party is no longer working for you.

Once you grant Artemis user access to your Google products, we will access them using our own login and password but you will retain ownership and full control of your accounts.

 

3. Website Login

We need to access to your website. You can either provide us with your login details or add us as user.

Please refer to the relevant section of the questionnaire.

 

4. Client Questionnaire – Google Products/Website Login

If the above Google products have already been set up you will need to grant us access to them so that we are able to access the data about your website.

If they have not yet been set up, we will be able to assist you with setting them up and granting ourselves (and you) the required access.

Please answer the questions below to assist us in setting up or adding Artemis as a user to your Google products.

On completion, please return this questionnaire and we will then set up the necessary access.

If you are having ongoing work with Artemis, please visit https://pwpush.com/ to generate a secure link containing your FTP (File Transfer Protocol) logins. Add your username and password into the Passwords field, click the blue 'Push It!' button at the bottom of the page, and then paste the secure link in the box below:
