Whilst Greg Stone Flooring had a strong local reputation for offering premium flooring and a personalised service, their website failed to effectively communicate the brand’s value to potential customers. Consequently, they struggled to attract footfall to their warehouse from across Sussex, limiting opportunities to expand their reach.
Proud of their ethos “big enough to compete with larger companies but small enough to care,” Greg Stone approached Artemis to help revamp their online presence. The goal was to highlight their commitment to a personalised customer experience while maintaining their competitive edge, all whilst appealing to a younger age demongraphic.

Solution
Artemis developed a modern, user-friendly website featuring dedicated product pages, focusing on top brands like Karndean and Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVT) with clear conversion paths to visit the warehouse. To build trust and credibility, the website featured customer testimonials and a portfolio of past installations, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for quality.
Following the launch of the website, we created geo-targeted pages and local citations for key service areas, including Brighton, Hove, Portslade, and Shoreham. Detailed warehouse information, including location details, directions, and high-quality images, was added across the website to showcase the extensive range of flooring solutions and attract more visitors.

Result
The improvements delivered impressive results for the business, showcasing the impact of the revamped website and targeted SEO strategy. Website traffic increased by 37% in 2024 compared to 2023, while tracked conversions, such as form submissions and calls, rose by 80%. In terms of visibility, the business achieved a net increase of 531 positions across all key search terms, with 27 keywords now ranking on Page 1 of Google.
Local SEO efforts further strengthened the business’s presence, with 209 additional local rankings in Google Business Profile (GBP) results. The optimised GBP listing now consistently generates over 50 calls per month, directly contributing to increased customer enquiries. These outcomes highlight the power of a strong digital strategy in driving traffic, increasing engagement, and delivering measurable business growth.
